Transformation Art Series
From plain to beautiful. From discarded to valuable.Â
The TRANSFORMATION Series What happens when something ordinary is no longer dismissed?
The Transformation Series is a collection of 76 original acrylic paintings, each incorporating a portion of reclaimed cardboard—material most often crushed, discarded, and forgotten. The number is not symbolic. In the United States, 76% of recyclable materials are lost to household trash. Each painting represents one percent.
This series is not about recycling alone. It is about attention.
By embedding a utilitarian, overlooked material into fine art, the work challenges assumptions about value, permanence, and beauty. Cardboard becomes surface, structure, and history. What was once plain becomes essential. What was once ignored becomes deliberate.
Every painting is signed and numbered, part of a finite sequence released in sub-series of ten, with each phase increasing in value—reflecting the growing impact of intentional action over time.
Transformation does not arrive all at once.
It happens one decision at a time.
